This morning I came across this cool little program from MIT that compiles your online persona and shows you what it is that you project to the world through the internet. As my brother and I sat typing in people we know, he suggested we type in Jesus Christ. This of course led us to wonder about many religious figures and ultimately about how God is perceived online. Unfortunately my screenshots don’t show good enough resolution so that you can make out that Jesus and Allah are both more militaristic, professional, and management oriented than the rest (dark blue). Mohammad and Buddha are much more into sports than Jesus is (yellow), and Buddha dominates in the field of education (light blue). Yahweh and Mohammad far outpace all the rest in the news. Jehovah is the most social while Mohammad is the most musical.
